[Atmob-discuss] Observing around Brighton

Hello Everyone, 
   I am a beginner in astronomy and am an ATMOB member. I live in Brighton / Allston, MA. I have been doing some naked eye observing from my backyard. Now, I want to become a bit more organized and take my observing to next level. My question to the group is  where can I do observing close to Brighton.  I am not looking for very dark skies right now (just something a bit better than my backyard) and do not want to drive 1 hour to a get to a dark sky.  My second question is, are there ATMOB members in and around Brighton who do some observing in this area. I would like to join someone and observe in a group if possible. Even a team of two is great.
