He's "livin' on island time" (also from a JB song).

Seriously? You haven't stayed up past 8pm yet? Well it is visible at 7:40
I
suppose (due east) but it is very low over the horizon. At your carribean
location you should be able to find a clear view. If you can stay up until
9pm
it will be much better and higher. Tell the bartender to wake you up at 9pm
tonight.

george, been lousy weather, and hard to take any good images when the wind
is
howling, shakes the scope, and blurs the image, even in a dome,

How come there has been no mention of Lulin on here?
Did anyone see it last night? It passed very close to Saturn. It was
visible
nicely in binoculars (7x50). I couldn't tell which way the tail was
pointing
(left vs. right) but I could see it wasn't round but instead elongated like
a
fat hyphen in the proper orientation. I recommend it tonight (should be
clearer
tonight). Attached is a chart of where to look. Basically you should still
be
able to see Lulin and Saturn just barely in the same field of view tonight.
Try
after 9pm because it rises around 7:30pm and will be very low before then.
If you don't want to brave the cold weather - try it from inside the house.
I
was able to find it the first time from inside (but went out for a better
look).
