Great idea Bruce! I'll bring my contribution to the monthly meeting.
Thanks for stepping-up and leading the donation drive.

Subject: [Atmob-discuss] Do you use the Clear Sky Clock?

Do you use the Clear Sky Clock like I do, checking it often to identify the
best observing times or sites? The CSC exist solely because individuals,
corporation and clubs like our choose to sponsor one or more Sky Clocks.
ATMoB has sponsored two clocks, one for Boston and one for the Knight
Observatory, for three years.

There are a couple of additional features that come with a sponsored clock.
I use the Clear Sky Clock for Mobile Phones often from my web-enabled cell
phone for a near-instantaneous CSC report from anywhere. There are also CSC
historic reports, so you may add some degree of certainty to your long-range
observing plans.

This Thursday we will once again pass the hat to sponsor these two clocks
for another year. Please consider putting an extra $5 or $10 in your wallet
to help support Attilla Danko in his heroic volunteer effort to keep the CSC
servers and internet service going for another year. We will also accept
checks for any amount made out to ATMoB.

And if you haven't used this valuable tool give it a try now.
