was testing my equipment last night.  as everything worked so perfectly I
decided to take some images.  3 hours of h-alpha - due to trees in east and west
that is as much I can get in one evening - so getting 17+ hours like Neil would
take a week !!  The nice thing was that due to the bright stars I could guide
"through" the h-alpha filter, using the internal guider, which makes everything
much easier

ps.  has anyone used polar align max.  tried it last night for the first time
and according to it I am 7 arc min too low and 14 arc min to the right of the
pole.  how accurate is it and how accurate does the polar alignment really have
to be for 10 min sub-exposures?
