[Atmob-discuss] OT: Seeking a speaker on "String Theory"

Hi, everyone, and Happy New Year!

I¹m currently involved in planning and participating in an art exhibition at
Suffolk University. The exhibit is a long way off ‹ next Fall, but planning
an publicity start early.

The theme of the exhibit is ³String Theory.² It¹s really based on artist¹s
conceptions of what String Theory might be about, so there¹s quite a bit of
artistic license possible. There curator would like to sponsor a talk in
conjunction with the exhibit, in which someone who actually understands the
topic could provide a view appropriate to lay-people.

Can anyone provide me with a pointer? Someone perhaps with a background in
physics who has read some technical material on the subject? Someone who has
actually worked in the area?
