Everyone,
     Using the drift method for the comet (15 seconds  for the comet to enter 
the field of my 6mm Radian) at  declination of +50  degrees gives an angular 
diameter of approx. 2.4 arc minutes. At a distance of  approx. 150 million 
miles that makes its visual diameter about 100,000  miles!!! Remember...these are 
back-of-the-envelope calculations!!!
