Big Papi scored the go ahead run on a sacrifice fly by Varitek, the
skies cleared around Perseus (as w/Mario, they had been sitting right
where the comet is) and i went outside and was very much amazed at how
bright and un-comet like Holmes is.

I wish I could! I am sitting here in Gloucester with my dome ready to
go, and camera on scope waiting for this ##$%&%$ cloudbank to move away!
I see clear sky at horizons, but stuck under a nearly overcast area, not
moving. If it does, will image it and post,... grrrr

Stop watching the Red Sox game and go outside right now!!! This comet is
fantastic!!! Easily naked eye...my finder shows structure but the in the
main scope it is absoloutly FANTASTIC. There's a large central structure
with an enormous circular halo. You've just gotta see this to beleive
it!!!!
I LOVE this hobby!!!!!!!
