[Atmob-discuss] obervatory articles NY Times, and Boston Globe

Hi all,

 Seem to be a media celebrity today, but
I do not think much of either article.

1. NY Times: article on my home
observatory.  impressive, but... all
they talk about is how the others in the
article spent megabucks building and
buying their telescopes and
observatories, never really mentioning
the fact mine was all hand made, and I
kept costs way down with forced ATMOB
slave labor. Also, in the "house and
home section" not the "science" section.
Should have known when I had to explain
tthe reporter what a telescope is...

2. In Boston Globe: west regional
section only. An article about light
pollution. Interviewed Nelpag people,
myself included, and  our own VP Steve
Beckwith as well. Did not talk with
politicians, oh well.
