Rivers is closing down? They're still advertising in Astronomy and their
website doesn't say anything about closing down. Or are you talking about
closing for the Holidays. They have a Holiday schedule on their website.

 

The Meade website also lists these two businesses as authorized Meade

I don't know anything about either of them, but if you're just purchasing
eyepieces and taking them overseas I don't see that which dealer you go to
makes a difference. I'd call them and see who's closest and has the desired
eyepiece(s).

Send him to Rivers in Dover.  They had a ton of Meade eyepieces left and I
think they have not closed down yet.

        I just received a call from someone visiting from overseas looking
for Meade eyepieces.  He has contacted Hunt Drug in Melrose without success.
Is there still a place out in the route 9 Framingham area that carries some
astronomy accessories?
