Hi all,

I went down to the cape cod amateur
astronomy club last evening and gave a
talk on light pollution. was warmly
received, and there was a selectman from
a local town (forget now which, sorry),
e-mailed him the Gloucester ordinance at
his request.
I have also given the talk to GAAC
last month (gloucester group), and have
sent the ordinance to a town
administrator in North Reading at her
request. I have also fielded inquiries
from other locations as well.
  The Governor (Patrick) has been
talking about cutting down unnecessary
lights at Government building's to save
on energy, so... I see an opening here.
When I get to meet with him as VP of the
MMS, I will of course pounce on this
opening.

To all, if asked, volunteer for a
talk on LP whenever. If you need
materials, download my slide set PP from
the www.atmob.org site, you are free to
use in any way or modify.
I do sense a new senisitivity to the
issue out there, and feel this
legislative cycle could be ours.
