Hi - I'm a senior in high school, and for my final project this spring, I'm
trying to build a Dobsonian telescope with (possibly) a very basic
photographic component. Although I've always been interested in astronomy,
I've never actually taken a class or anything like that. Looking at
different books and plans online, I've decided to build the telescope with a
6'' f8 primary mirror and 1.25'' secondary. I was wondering, though, if
anyone could give me a recommendation for an eyepiece. I'm still not too
sure what would be the best kind while working on a relatively economical
budget. Thanks!
