[ATMoB-discuss] VP of MMS

Dear ATMOB members,

    Tonight the Massachusetts Medical Society (18,000 physicans of 
Massachusetts, and publisher of the New England Journal of Medicine), 
have voted to make me the new Vice President, starts this coming May 19.
In May 2008 I will be the president-elect
In 2009 I become the President.

   This will take much of my free time (I long for the days I just 
pulled out a scope in the back yard and observed.....or had more time 
for star parties, forgive me.)
But I do consider it a great Honor, with great responsibility.
This will give me great access to the politicians. I promise to bring up 
light pollution at every opportunity.
I also hope to have a positive effect on the delivery of health care for 
people in our state.
