[ATMoB-discuss] Shuttle launch - anyone see it?

Thanks for the heads-up Mike!  I took the dog for a walk down to the ocean 
and naked-eye saw the ISS and Shuttle pass in tandem overhead.  They were 
less than 1 degree apart (less than a pinky width at arms length), slightly 
staggered in formation, and moving from the NW to NNE.  The lower leading 
object, the ISS, appeared slightly bigger and brighter than the trailing 
Shuttle.  Both appeared brighter than Venus but not quite as bright as 
Jupiter. Grew dimmer and dimmer and disappeared over the ocean.   Very neat!

Shared the sight with some other dog walkers for some impromptu guerrilla 
astronomy.  Thanks again for the tip!
