Actually he makes a small size which starts at $15,500.
William Andrewes lives in Concord. The longitude dials are very interesting and
unique items. If a group of us would like to build one to mount at the
clubhouse, perhaps he could be persuaded to run the design calculations for us
gratis.
A very interesting article about the longitude dials was published in
Smithsonian magazine in the January 2007 issue. It may be available on-line, or
I have a copy if anyone would like to see it.
