Thanks for the reference, Joe.

This is where I spent many hours after school
re-organizing the stacks under the direction of then
curator, Madelyn Harvey.  Miss Harvey would leave a
4:30PM leaving me alone with the ghosts of the
Bonds, Pickering, A.J. Cannon, and Bailey until 9 at
night. After his work in Peru, Solon Bailey became a
foremost expert in astrophotography and lenses at
Harvard between 1910 and 1930.
When I broke the grinding tool for my 6-inch RFT,
Madelyn gave me a partially ground 4-inch mirror to
complete a telescope for the State Science Fair. 
The project won a first place.
