I guess I partly misunderstood the conditions for ketones in the bloodstream and urine. While on the Stillman water diet back in the early seventies, I lost 90 pounds in 6 months with great ease and no hunger/pain. Stillman stated that if you have no fat in your diet, the body metabolizes its own fat and Ketone test strips would indicate that an individual was losing weight. He emphasized the need for at least eight glasses of water to "wash away" the Ketones.
I believe it was several years later that it was discovered that acidosis could cause death. I was never able to repeat the weight loss so successfully. My A1C tests are just a bit above normal and the prognosis is good, especially if I got back to exercising more frequently.
I guess that the body can tolerate breathing a tiny amount that is within OSHA limits.
Cleaning optics is, and should be done with vigorous air circulation. I forgot to mention that, in addition to flammability.
