[ATMoB-discuss] Comet McNaught

I too got a great view, from a southwest-facing beach on Hickory Hills Lake in Lunenburg.  For me this was totally out of the blue, I knew nothing about this until reading the reports yesterday on ATMoB discuss.  I watched it with binoculars from 4:40 PM to 5:20 PM, while it was an easy naked eye object from 5:00 on.  Given how bright it looked in the twilight, I'm making a wild guess that the comet was 1st magnitude or brighter??
