[ATMoB-discuss] Comet McNaught

I just came in from viewing Comet McNaught over the Wachusett Reservoir
in Clinton. The sky was still relatively bright when I first spotted it,
and I thought that it was a short aircraft vapor trail. It was not
naked-eye for me. I was using a pair of Meade 8 x 42 binoculars. I lost
the "vapor trail" for a few minutes while I was scanning for the comet,
and as the sky darkened, suddenly there it was! The "vapor trail" was
unmistakably the comet. The head looked starlike, with a nice tail.
