[ATMoB-discuss] Comet sighting

I spotted Comet C/2006 P1 McNaught from my roofdeck in Central Square, first
in 10 x 50 binoculars then with the naked eye, and was easily able to follow
it, starting about 10 minutes after sunset continuously for the next 40
minutes, almost until it set on the horizon. Next to Venus, it was the most
prominent object in the NW sky, with a very distinct tail about 2 deg. long,
pointing towards celestial N. Way cool.
