When the sun hits my house, it makes it warmer and the sound is like sizzling eggs, I think.

O.K., it's only the sunLIGHT. 

Saw the comet tonight following Dennis DiCicco's suggestions. I would estimate 3rd magnitude and it took 15 X 63 binocs to find it. Disappointing in the twilight, needs a 12-inch F/5 for decent images.
