She also was the secretary for the AAVSO for many years. She ran a tight 
meeting.. if you were assigned 15 minutes for a talk, woe be to you if 
you ran over by even a second.  The irony is.. she died by the same 
disease that struck down Janet Mattei, AML, (Acute myelogenous 
Leukemia). No link though, they worked in different locations.
