Paul, me lad,

I'm not going to the New Year's Eve party either, even though I heard a
rumor that Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, and Lindsey Lohan just might
show up. It's been hinted that they just LOVE parties, but they're so
sedate, sober, and proper that I don't really believe that for a moment.
They'd probably be real wet blankets. Anyway, midnight is way past my
bedtime.  

And a Happy New Year right back atcha!
