[ATMoB-discuss] Visit to goddard and Bob naeye

Hi all,

    This past week I was in Washington DC lobbying for health care. 
While there, did a side trip and visited our own Bob Naeye at his new 
job, who got me a VIP pass into Goddard. I have posted some of the 
photos on line in our "Other Gallery" site of the ATMOB, under 
"Goddard".  Had great access, Dhyan Emmanuel, (Operations Manager) and 
Bob Naeye brought me into the test and assembly locations, where a new 
satellite, the Solar Dynamics Observatory is being built and tested.
Also, parts for the next Hubble fix were also being built and tested. 
Got great images of all this.
beleve it or not, the ONLY place I was asked not to take an image was 
the computer server that delivers the Astro Photo of the Day (APOD). All 
it was was a standard rack server. I was allowed to image everything 
else as you will see. I simply do not understand....
