I saw the lead object still very low from the sparsely 
lit back parking lot where I work near Porter Square. 
When I saw how bright they were, I rushed out to 
brightly lit Mass Ave and showed them to three 
passers-by and even stopped a bicyclist.  We all 
really enjoyed seeing them fade in and out through 
spotty clouds.
