Tom,
Last year you presented a series of these staggeringly basic questions
that made one wonder if you had ever taken the trouble to consult even a
grade school level book on physics or astronomy. So, here we go again.
Say that someone tells you that there's a 100-dollar bill lying in the
middle of the sidewalk 8.3 minutes away by tricycle. So you hop on your
tricycle and pedal furiously for 8.3 minutes, and Lo! sure enough,
there's a 100-dollar bill lying there on the sidewalk. Now, here's the
hard part. Did you arrive at the 100-dollar bill at the beginning or at
the end of your speedy eye-watering journey? If you know whether you're
coming or going this should be relatively easy to figure out if you
really apply yourself.
Good luck! And don't burn too much midnight oil. We don't want to
contribute any more greenhouse gases to global warming than is absolutely
necessary, do we? There's a good lad.
