hey
Ill even feed you after the event!!
Peter
Howdy All,
Im in need of another 3 scopes and one additional person to help out NEXT
Friday at our elementary school star party. Any volunteers??
The non-scope person would use my laser pointer to tour easy-to-find
constellations and to point out satellites (Ill provide times and
directions). Ot this person could bring a scope or binoculars
Im just
trying to make it easier.
See original announcement below.

I will be holding my annual Pollard Elementary School Starparty again on
Friday Sept 29, with a raindate of Monday October 2.
Event begins at 7PM. Setup begins at 6PM
Location: As always: Goudreaults Farm at 82 Newton Rd. (Rt. 108) in
Plaistow NH
A speaker is being lined up, talk will be held in a greenhouse. Wind
permitting: bonfire will be lit This site has reasonably dark skies and VERY
friendly/cooperative owners.
This event historically gets 300 people on a clear night and as few as 150
on partly cloudy nights. News coverage generally occurs.
Volunteers will be fed. If event goes off on Friday we can have
après-starparty observing at Sweet Hill Observatory (Peter Bealos house) ½
mile away.
Directions: From Rt495: Take exit 52 in Haverhill. Turn SOUTH towards
Haverhill from exit
Go about ¾ mile, turn right onto Rt 108 (hairpin, uphill, right turn)
Stay on Rt 108, cross under Rt 495 and enter NH. Goudreaults Farm is about
2 miles on LEFT. Note the Plaistow Cabinet sign ¼ mile before Farm on left
Pull into back of farm between barn and farmhouse
