Hi all,

We finally had a clear night. I was amazed at the
transparancy last night, and made the most of it,
stayed up till 3:30 this AM observing.
Highlights: I believe I finalyy "saw" Einsteins Cross
in Pegasus. I clearly saw the lensing galaxy, a 16th
mag galaxy, and with averted gaze, saw a "saquaring and
intensity at the edges, with a speckling pateern of a
star images around it, I am interpreting this as the
lensed quasar just barely seen (It is 17th mag, the
limit of my 32). This was a first for me.
I reveled in the field of Galaxies from Pegasus down to
sculptor. Had the computer just jump the scope from
galaxy to galaxy, saw at least 100 over the course of
the night.

Just great!!
Mario
