Subject: CfA Observatory Night astrophotography lecture

Good afternoon,

We would like to extend a special invitation to the ATMoB to attend a
lecture next Thursday at the Center for Astrophysics. Expert
astrophotographer Robert Gendler will be discussing how anyone, with a
little persistence and not-very-expensive equipment, can create images that
rival those of professional observatories.

Mr. Gendler has a stunning book of his photos that has just been published
and will be signing copies at the event. This will be an exciting
opportunity to learn tips and techniques from the best in the field, not to
mention a night of awe and wonder at seeing his results!

For online examples, check out his website:
http://www.robgendlerastropics.com/

The lecture starts at 7:30 p.m. in Phillips Auditorium, 60 Garden Street,
Cambridge. Map and directions are online at
http://www.cfa.harvard.edu/mapsdir.html

Ample parking is available after 5:00 p.m. Admission is free, but seating is
first-come, first-served. Doors open at 7:00.

Sincerely,

Christine
