[ATMoB-discuss] Dark sky material needed and volunteer for energy fair

Hello all,

After nearly a year of work, the dark sky bill for Gloucester is
ready. It has been presented to the Mayor, being reviewed by town lawyers.
It will be formally presented to the city council in December sometime.
The enegy comm in Gloucester has spent much time developing support. I
will be giving several presentations, including to the city council. I
have shamelessly "borrowed" from bernie Kosicki from Acton, the IDA, and
am also getting out in the evenings and taking images of good and poor
lighting (all too many examples, sigh...).

The enegy committee has been asked to present at an energy fair in
Gloucester, and have been given a booth, on Oct 28, Saturday., from
10-4pm. I unfortunately am committed to the AAVSO meeting that weekend
and can not attend. Members of the energy comm will man the booth, but...
Have asked for any print material that they can copy, and pass out.
Though they have heard me speak on this now for nearly a year, they
would feel better if an amateur astronomer out there could man this
booth with them and answer questions. Is there a volunteer out there??
Wish I could do it, but I simply can not that weekend.

So what I am looking for:
1. Any print material we can copy (Energy comm will do, but need
urgently to get the copies)
2. A volunteer or 2 willing to attend this energy fair with other
members of the energy committee.

For those going to the NECA meeting this weekend (wish I was there, on
call the entire weekend), possibly you can take some print material that
is OK to copy and send on? or steal enough to use? Anything will be
useful, thanks!
