I've seen that one.  It's much smaller than the one they made for the 
Hayden Planetarium.  I think it could only project for Northern 
hemisphere locations, since it didn't have the dumbell shape.  

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the reason for all the home-
grown planetarium projectors at that time was because Zeiss in West 
Germany hadn't recovered sufficiently from the war yet to be able to 
make planetarium projectors.
