I was at Brothers Machinery today... a great place for used metal 
working tools.  Mills, lathes, fabrication equipment, etc.

They had a BIG tripod (2"-3" diameter legs, 4 to 5 feet tall) with worm 
geared alt/az adjustments.   They were asking $300 for it.

Just thought I'd mention it if anyone was looking for a big tripod or 
used metalworking machinery.
