Boy, we're really going round-robin on topics.
One point I think is important to make is that one of the biggest expenses
outside of clubhouse maintenance and improvements is for copying and mailing
our newsletter. I'd like to encourage all members to not sign up for
delivery by US Mail, not just to cut down on this expense, but also for
these important reasons;
1. You get it faster online;
2. The online version frequently has beautiful color images, while the US
Mail version is just black and white;
3. With the online version you can print as many "originals" as you need,
for star parties or to entice your friends.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see how we're using any really
measurable amount of electricity to power a telescope and/or dew heaters. Do
we really have that many non-members showing up and setting up telescopes on
site? It's been so long since I hauled everything up there that I don't have
a feel for it.
Clear skies,
Dave
