Hi everyone. Here are the links to the software I demonstrated at 
tonight's meeting and a few notes I neglected to mention.

I incorrectly described Lynkeos, the Registrax-like application, as 
running only on OS X. If you aren't afraid of compiling your own source 
code, there's also a Linux port. Presumably it can run on other 
UNIX-ish things.

As I mentioned, Graphic Converter ships free on some Macs. I think 
Apple includes it in the software bundle for the "pro" machines 
(Powermacs, Powerbooks/Macbooks). Check your /Applications folder to 
see if you already have it. I'm always astounded at how many Mac users 
overlook or just don't know about this great little app.

Thanks to everyone for their comments tonight. I left the meeting with 
a lot of suggestions and new ideas to work with, as well as much more 
encouragement than anyone who shows up with a slideshow full of blurry 
dots really deserves. It went appreciated. Let me know if you have 
trouble or find any of this useful. I'm dying to see what comes of this 
stuff.
