The Center for Astrophysics is having its first Summer Sky Star Party on
Friday, August 4 (the weekend after Stellafane), from 9 to 11pm, at
Hopkinton State Park. (Rain date: Friday, August 25.) The flyer reads:

"Come join us as we explore the summer skies through large and small amateur
telescopes. Tonight we go back to the moon to view some of the Apollo
landing sites. Other targets include the moons of Jupiter and the hidden
mysteries of the Summer Triangle. Classes on how to learn some of the
brighter summer constellations also will be held."

Directions are available at the park's website:

ATMoBs and their telescopes are most welcome.
