[ATMoB-discuss] Tom Britton's Scope

The reason why I know what the scope looks like, is because when I first
joined the club, I used that scope for almost a year before I got my hands
on Alex Khein's 10 incher after I traded the 6" Dybamax to him for it. As
some of you may remember, I bought a Meade 2045 Schmidt Cass, traded that to
Leo Jennings for his Dynamax 6, traded the 6" for Alex's 10 inch Dob and
then sold the dob and bought the first 13" from someone out in Framigham.

So thats why I know what Tom's scope looks like. I remember it well...the
last time I saw it was more than 10 years ago. I am not sure if the Poncet
platform still worked or not, but that scope gave some pretty good views. My
first view of m35 was through that scope. And I also hada the opportunity to
use the club's 16" quite extensively for the first 2 years I was in the
club.
