Hi folks,
I have added an aerial photo to the website showing where we will be setting

Thanks to Kelly for making these arrangements. Kelly will be cordoning off
an area for us, but he may not make it before you do.

Here are a few notes to help you get around Chelmsford Center.

Academy Street and Westford Street will be closed after about 4pm. Westford
Street is one way as indicated on the drawing. We will have access via North
Road across from the Fire Station. Once you drop equipment off, parking is
available in Village Square, St Mary's Church, and limited parking on
Cushing Place off of Rt 110-Littleton Road.

I plan on getting there by 4-ish and can help anyone with their equipment. I
will have a 2-wheeled cart with me.

There are 2 HP parking spots to the south side of the Old Town Hall on North
Road.

better and help with equipment.

If you come after about 5:00 you won't be able to get a car that close. I
always park on Cushing Place or the old town hall but if you get there late
there may not be spaces left.

If people call me after 4:30 or so I can probably get you better
instructions for parking and equipment drop off. I'd be willing to take
turns standing guard over everyone's equipment on a rotating basis so we can
all enjoy the rest of the event.

Hi everyone,

I realize it's a holiday weekend, and because of this we have just a couple
of helpers for the 7/3 star party in Chelmsford Center. We need a few more,
so if you can make it please email me or sign up on the new atmob website
under events. Chelmsford puts on a great event on the 3rd and 4th - bring
the whole family.

Kelly Beatty, Gary Jacobson & I are organizing a star party to coincide with
the July 3rd & 4th festivities in Chelmsford Center. The town Celebrations
Committee has agreed to let us set up on the common and Kelly assures us
that the festivities will not wash out the planets and moon. 

A few volunteers are needed - setup will be a challenge because of limited
parking and access to the site, but we may be able to make arrangements to
drop off before 5pm.

I'll post this in the events section of the club website, where you can
indicate your willingness to help out.
