[ATMoB-discuss] Searching for small piece of Formica

Hi,

I'm looking for a scrap of textured Formica to use as the Alt bearing (with
Teflon) on a Dob mount I'm building. Home Depot sells 4'x8' sheets, and they
do not stock the textured kind. I need a strip about 4" x 36". There was a
piece at the clubhouse but it was not large enough. This is the only
component I am missing.

Does anyone have such a piece they'd be able to gift or barter for?
Alternately, is there a cabinet shop in the greater Lowell area where I
could go dumpster-diving?
