Virginia,
South West is the direction toward Wallops Island and Florida OK, but the Shuttle will be grazing the horizon until it gets to its highest altitude, that would be SE, then would descend to the NE.
Let's hope tomorrow night has better weather at the Cape (Canaveral) and here.
It would be nice if it were at a higher altitude, but that would put millions in danger.
