Frederick, I'm wondering if a new scope is really the solution to your
problem. Are you trying to observe at your house or trying to travel
with the scope? If you are trying to observe near your house, I think
you need wheels.

I would look at putting your scopes on wheels and making sure you can
wheel them in and out of the shed. Is there or can you add a ramp into
the shed? There are tripod wheel systems where you screw down legs to
lift the telescope off the wheels. You could even have near perfect
repeatable alignment if you did it right.

I figure after you get a wheel system you like, then you can look for a
telescope you like.

My two cents anyways...

I also have a Home made 13.1" Dobsonian which consists of a Coulter mirror 13.1" f/4.3 (Newly Aluminized) Metal parts like spider & mirror cell from Stanley Novak. Finder scope is an 8x50 from Orion. 1¼" Focuser also from Orion

I could care less about festoon on Jupiter or Mare so and so on Mars. Although I would on occasion like to try my hand at photographing so sky objects.
