Here is what Lincoln has in the bylaws:

13.5 Exterior Lighting: All artificial lighting installed in any district,
shall be so installed or

shielded as to prevent direct light or glare from the light source from
interfering with

the vision of motorists or pedestrians passing in the street or streets
abutting the

premises and as to prevent direct light or glare from illuminating
neighboring

properties.

 

15.3.3.4 Lighting. All artificial lighting used to illuminate a parking or
storage area,

maneuvering space or driveway shall be arranged and shielded so as to
prevent

direct glare from the light source into any public street or private way or
onto

adjacent property.

Hello,

 

  last month I asked all to let me know if your town has any Light pollution
laws enacted. Though I have recieved responses on possible LP sponsors, no
one has let me know about town bylaws. I know of a few (Arlington,
Lynnfield, Acton, Harvard, townsend, etc), but I need to compile a complete
list, so... I ask again, can every club member please determine if your town
has an active light Pollution ordinace enacted and active now, and let me
know. At this time, not asking for the details, simple yes/no will suffice,

 

Thanks, I need everyone active in this LP fight. If not us, who will?
