[Atmob-club] [Atmob-announce] scope for a good cause?

Kelly,
I have Phil Rounseville's 60mm Tak with Spaceboy
Mount , all packed in its leather case, but weighs
about 40 lbs. It fits in an overhead aircraft bin.
It costs $900 though, but I would be willing to
discount it if other members help out.
Tomorrow morning I am picking up the advanced
version of the iOptron "Cube GoTo" with 80mm F/5
Refractor and SS tripod, all packed up in a box for
transport and was planning to bring it to the
meeting. This unit runs for $410 and fits in the
beginner category but with 80,000 object database.
Adjusting for southern latitudes is "a click away".
I am exchanging it for a unit that does not have GPS
and the objective is tilted considerably. I star
tested it and looked at Mars and it exhibits severe
astigmatism. I could fix it, but Woburn is so close.
Most scopes are being shipped from the CA warehouse,
but I will see if they have another unit in stock
here. I could always get my unit later to take to
the Winter Star Party.
Let me know what you want to do by tomorrow night.
Paul
