The Astronomy course for ATMoB Members - "Understanding the Universe - An Introduction To Astronomy" event has been added to the web site.
Location: ATMoB Clubhouse, Westford MA
Date: Friday, Dec 7, 2007 at 7:00 PM to Friday, Jun 27, 2008 at 7:00 PM
John Maher will be running the video astronomy course "Understanding the Universe - An Introduction To Astronomy 2nd Edition" (Taught by Professor Alex Fillippenko, University of California, Berkley). Explore everything there is in the Universe in 96 lectures, each 30 minutes long. This course is designed for new members with little or no experience in Astronomy and would be a refresher for advanced Amateur Astronomers. Classes begin December 7th and will subsequently be held every Friday night at the clubhouse from 7:00pm to 9:00pm . The class is only being offered to ATMoB members. If you'd like to attend, sign-up for the course in the events section of the ATMoB website (www.atmob.org).
