The Dec 6 Shuttle Launch up the coast shortly after 4:30pm EST event has been added to the web site.
Location: Clubhouse Bldg. #1 Haystack Hill, Westford, MA
Date: Thursday, Dec 6, 2007 at 3:45 PM
The clubhouse will be opened for the expected launch of the next Space Shuttle
on Thursday Dec. 6, 2007 by 3:45pm. Attendees are advised to bring binoculars
for ease of acquiring the shuttle just above the tree line looking South down
the access road. The side porch has been an excellent viewing location as has 
the side of the road. Portable radios are helpful in learning the exact time of
launch. Tracking is too severe for available telescope mounts so your telescope system will yield best results for photographic attempts over the short time of first rising above our horizon. See Joe Rao's comments on the archived discuss
list, on our website, for Dec 4. We'll reschedule if & when launch is delayed.
The Thursday night grinding session will probably arrive before we finish discussing what we saw and photographed. Clear skies to all!!
